How enable the Private Print / Secure Print / Confidential Print option on your Kyocera 620

To Enable Private print

With your document open;

  • Click File
  • Click Print

NOTE: If the File > Print option is not available you can press Ctrl + P on your keyboard. Depending on the type of document and the software used to view the document, you printing window will vary.

 

  

 

  • Click Printer Properties or Properties, depending on your document software.
  • The printer properties for the Baldwin Wallace Network Printer you intend to print to will open.
  • Click the Job Tab
  • Click the box Job storage (e-MPS) to enable functionality
  • From the Type field click to select Private print from the drop down list
  • Click OK

  • Click Print
  • Enter your department code in the Account ID field


  • Click OK
  • Enter a Private print code

NOTE: This is a private code that only you know.  You will need to enter your Private print code on to MFD to release your print job.


  • Click OK

NOTE: This Private print option will remain enabled until you turn off this option.

To turn off Private print

  • Click Printer Properties or Properties, depending on your document software.
  • The printer properties window for the Baldwin Wallace Network Printer you intend to print to will open.

  • Click the Job Tab
  • Click the box Job storage (e-MPS) to remove the check in the box and disable Private print.
  • Click OK

Your print job will be set to the printer (MFD)

To "release" your Private print job

On the printer:

  • Enter your Department Code
  • Touch Print
  • Touch E-MPS
  • Touch Next
  • Touch Next a second time
  • Enter the number of copies you wish to print
  • Enter you Private print code in the Password field
  • Touch Enter
