How may I access my KEMSIS account if the username and/or password has been forgotten?

If you have forgotten either your Username or Password, you may use the following process to obtain your login information. Your username and/or a new temporary password will be sent to the email address that is attached to your KEMSIS account. 

Note: Do not contact KBEMS to obtain your password. KBEMS staff may only send a system generated reminder message to the email address on file or reset your account if you have been locked out. The quickest way to get your account reset is to use the forgot username/password feature described below or by creating a Support Ticket.

Go to the KEMSIS Forgot Username or Password page where you will be prompted one to identify one of three unique identifiers related to your account. You may choose any option you know.

  • Username
  • Email Address
  • Social Security Number

Enter the information then click Search.

If you successfully entered the one of the three options requested, a logon email will be sent to the email address on record in KEMSIS. You can see the verification message below.

Password requirements:

  • Must be at least seven (7) characters long
  • Must contain at least one (1) numeric character
  • Must contain at least one (1) uppercase and one (1) lowercase character

Password precautions:

  • DO NOT use a Password that contains your username or any part of your full name (i.e. reversed, CAPS, doubled, etc.)
  • DO NOT use a word that is contained in the English or Foreign Language dictionaries
  • DO NOT use information easily obtained about you (i.e. Employee number, child name, spouse name, pet name, address, etc.)
