How do I update my KEMSIS profile?

As a requirement of your certification or license, you are required to keep contact information up to date with the KBEMS office. Now, you have the ability to update this information quickly and easily at your convenience.

Notice: After January 1, 2015, KBEMS will use electronic (e-mail) communications as the primary method to communicate with EMS Responders and EMS Agencies. Please make sure the email address on file in KEMSIS is current, accessible, and checked regularly.

  1. Login to KEMSIS at https://kemsis.kbems.kctcs.edu/licensure/public/kentucky. If you need assistance with your username or password, click the Forgot Username or Password link on the login page or use the Account Lookup feature to change your password.
  2. Click Profile in the left hand navigation menu.
  3. Scroll down the page and update any information that has changed. When you have completed making changes remember to click the red Save button at the bottom of the page.
  4. A confirmation message will be displayed at the top of the page following the successful save of your updated information.

Note: You are not permitted to change your name, date of birth, or Social Security Number through the profile update. Name changes are completed with a Name Change Application in KEMSIS but you must contact our office for date of birth or Social Security Number changes.
