When will I receive my refund?

Financial aid awards are adjusted after census date for less than full-time enrollment and then disbursed to student accounts if the student has no holds and is in good standing.  If there is aid in excess of your charges you should see a refund posted to your account.

After the refund is posted to you account, an excess aid checks is then requested from the Commonwealth.  You will be able to see the date requested on your student account.  About 10-15 business days from that date, you should receive your check or checks. 

Make sure your address of record is correct on your My NOVA account; that is where checks will be sent.
